Care Instructions
Every NØRVIK piece is made from materials chosen to last for years, not seasons. Proper care preserves both the garment and its value as a numbered edition.
Outerwear & Tailoring
Dry clean only, and sparingly — over-cleaning breaks down natural fibres faster than wear does. Air out after each wear rather than cleaning immediately. Store on a wide, shaped hanger to preserve the shoulder line, and use a breathable garment bag for long-term storage. Steam rather than iron directly where possible.
Knitwear
Hand wash cold or use a wool/cashmere cycle with a gentle, pH-neutral detergent. Never wring — lay flat on a towel and roll to remove excess water, then dry flat away from direct heat or sunlight. Store folded, not hung, to avoid stretching at the shoulders.
Shirts
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, inside out, with similar colours. Iron on a medium setting while still slightly damp for the cleanest finish. Avoid chlorine bleach — even on white pieces — as it will yellow natural fibres over time.
Leather & Footwear
Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth after wear. Condition every 2–3 months with a colourless leather conditioner to prevent cracking. Avoid prolonged exposure to rain; if leather does get wet, let it air dry naturally, never near direct heat.
Jewellery & Watches
Store pieces separately to avoid scratching, ideally in the pouch provided. Remove before swimming, showering, or exercising. Polish gold and gemstone pieces occasionally with a soft jewellery cloth. Mechanical watches should be serviced every 3–5 years by an authorised watchmaker — contact us for a referral.
